Free public tools

The free tools on this site (a DNS lookup, DNS propagation check, email setup check, domain lookup, IP lookup, HTTP headers check, redirect checker, response time check, SSL checker and an email header analyzer) are for ordinary diagnostics on domains and services you own or are authorized to examine, and for looking up public information. The HTTP headers, redirect, response time and SSL checks connect to the address you enter (the redirect checker also follows up to 10 redirects), so use them only on sites you own or are authorized to examine, and not repeatedly. Do not use them to harass, probe, scan or disrupt anyone else's systems, to evade rate limits, or to automate lookups in bulk. We rate limit requests, may block abusive use, and may decline lookups for any domain.

Report misuse or exclude your domain

To report misuse, or to have a domain you own excluded from the tools (including everything beneath it), email support@aod.net with the domain name. Exclusions take effect immediately once processed.

What we keep

See the privacy notice: results are cached for about five minutes, no lookup history is kept, and abuse counters use a one-way hash of your network address and expire within a day.
