Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026 · Last updated September 28, 2026
These terms govern AOD Pulse, a website monitoring service operated by Admin on Demand, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Contact support@aod.net with questions.
Your account
Provide an accurate email address, verify it, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Each account currently has one owner; team membership and shared roles are not included in the launch service.
Promotional free plan
The launch plan allows up to five website monitors per account, including paused monitors. It provides checks approximately every minute, checks from your selected US, Canadian and Australian locations, email outage and recovery alerts, and 30 days of detailed monitoring history with 90 days of daily summaries. Actual scheduling and delivery may vary with load, network conditions, and maintenance.
The free offer is promotional and is not a promise of a permanently free service. We will email account holders before making material changes to the promotion. We will not automatically convert a free account to a paid subscription or charge you without your agreement. Future paid plans, features, limits, and pricing are not commitments until made available under their applicable terms.
Authorized monitoring only
Only monitor websites you own or have permission to monitor. You must not use AOD Pulse for unauthorized scanning, disruption, harassment, evasion of security controls, or access to private networks. Do not submit credentials or sensitive information in monitored URLs. Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits or abuse service resources.
We may reject monitor targets, rate-limit requests, or suspend accounts to protect the service, other users, or third parties.
Monitoring has limits
AOD Pulse checks website responses from its monitoring locations. A successful check does not establish that every page, customer journey, or region is working. Failed checks can result from filtering or network conditions as well as an unavailable website. Email can be delayed, filtered, or undelivered.
The launch service is provided on an “as available” basis without a service-level agreement or a guarantee of uninterrupted service, detection, or alert delivery. It is not intended as the sole safeguard for safety-critical systems. Use independent monitoring where missed alerts would have serious consequences.
Free public tools
The free tools are provided as is, without an account and without any availability or accuracy commitment. Results reflect what public resolvers returned at the moment of the request and may be cached for a few minutes. You may use them only for domains and services you own or are authorized to examine, or for ordinary public information lookups, and not to harass, probe or disrupt anyone else's systems. We apply rate limits, may block abusive use, and may decline lookups for any domain. See the acceptable use page.
Free tools API
API keys with the tools permission let you run the free checks (HTTP headers, redirects, response time, SSL and the health score) from your own scripts. Use them only on sites and servers you own or are authorized to test. Each account may hold two such keys. Limits apply per key and per account and are shown in the response headers; we may lower them, suspend a key, or close an account that misuses the API, tries to scan third parties, or resells access. The checks are informational snapshots from one location and are not a monitoring guarantee.
Data and ownership
You retain rights to the information you submit. You authorize us to process it and send monitoring requests as needed to provide the service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Notice. The AOD Pulse name, website design, and software remain the property of their respective owners.
Ending use
You can pause or delete monitors at any time and request account deletion through support. We may suspend or terminate use for abuse, a breach of these terms, or an operational need. Where practical, we will provide notice. Keep your own records of information you need to retain.
Responsibility
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Admin on Demand, LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website downtime, missed or delayed alerts, or use of the promotional service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through the website or your account email before taking effect when practical.
