SSL Checker

Makes one TLS handshake with a public site from an AOD Pulse probe and shows the certificate chain, expiry, names, protocol and cipher it presents. No request is sent over the connection. The result is kept for 24 hours.

What is checked

The certificate chain the server sends, its dates and names, whether it is trusted and valid for the name you entered, and the protocol and cipher negotiated. Only these five ports that start TLS immediately are offered. The check does not probe for old protocol versions and does not send mail or web requests.
